when lightening hair you may notice that it goes through stages whilst the natural underlying pigment is being stripped out: http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/8565/鈥?/a> so when you wish to go back darker then you firstly need to put those red tones back IN to the hair usually via a red mousse or dye that we in the business refer to as ';filling'; otherwise if this is not done then the hair will take on a funny cast (usually khaki green) as you have now found out. the only solution is to now use a red based dye or mousse in order to see if the pigment can be corrected to a neutral acceptable shadeHaair helpp :( Hairdressers?.. light blonde to dark hair?
well i had really blonde high lights ages ago and i wanted mine darker so i let my highlights grow out a it then got some chocolate brown lowlights. i know its a pain, but to give your hair a rest from all the chemicals, u shud prob just leave it for a while before doing anything otherwise ull just really weaken your hair!!
I'm not a hairdresser but when my daughter went from dyed blonde to brown her hairdresser told her to make sure the brown had red tones in it or it would go a strange colour. she suggested warm chocolate brown. Hope this helps but I would check with a salon.
dark brown is sooo original
maybe with some light brown high lights
