GHD Crisis!!!! Hairdressers or anyone who has a GHD?

It was my brithday yesterday %26amp; my parents bought me a GHD.


Last night the first time I was using it , I put it down %26amp; as I walked out of the room my leg got tangled in the cord.





I was wearing high heels I lost my balance %26amp; fell over the cord on the GHD came out. The plate on it are not cracked or anything but the cord wont go back in.





Does anyone know of any where I could send it to be repaired ?? it looks perfectly new the fall did not damage it appearance wise but it wont work.





My parents will go mental if I tell them I broke it the first time I used it has anyone got their GHD repaired????





Anyone got any info on repairing it???

that happened to me my plates broke cos i stood on them but im not sure what the hairdressers can do cos when i took mine back they gave me the adress for GHD repairs and then a sleve to put them in so its worth a trip to get the sheet and stuff, If they're only a day old why not cheat a little and just take them back saying you bought them like that? it would work and means you dont have to wait for ages!!

If you contact ghd they will send you out a returns envelope. You will somehow need to get a proof of purchase. It might be worth saying that you are going to register the product with ghd so then you have a warranty.





Good luck, worst case tell your parents and i'm sure they'll understand especially as ghd should fix them.
you need to tell your parents wat happened if they onli just got them from a hairdressers then they can take them back to the hairdressers and the hairdressers will send them back to ghd who will fix them and send them back for free hope this helps xx
Try bringing them to a local hair dressing shop, they may know how to fix'em...


Or maybe look on the box for the manafactures...


(sorry proberly haven't helped much lol)
Good thing about ghds is that they have a life time garentie now, just send them off to where you got them from they will repair them or you will get a new pair.

hiya im always gettin mine repaired! i have 2 pairs now jus incase :0 go to ghd website and find out there. if you got guarantee or reciept its better :)

u should be able to send it back or summin like taht n have a new one sent to u ask ure mum for the forms n stuff x
contact GHD, there was a problem with mine after i'd only had them six months. My mum emailed GHD and then they gave us the information and we posted them to be fixed. Mine couldn't be fixed so they just sent me a free pair.
