Highlights, or full head colour? Hairdressers please help!?

Hi,

I usually have highlights and like the look to be pretty solid and not streaky. My hairdresser used to do this very well, by doing a full head of highlights and putting loads in. The last couple of times though, she has done them very streaky. Do I need to ask for a full head colour? I don't want a complete barbie block colour, but don't want my hair to look streak at all.Highlights, or full head colour? Hairdressers please help!?
I would recommend communicating to her, I am sure you know that communication is the key to everything. Let her know exactly what it is that you need. Also perhaps taking her a picture of what you want it to look like would help. Hope this helps hun.Highlights, or full head colour? Hairdressers please help!?
i used to have streaks, then it got too expensive so i have been blonde all over for about 8 years

my niece who lives in America came home to Australia for a holiday i loved her hair so much i have been doing it for last two months its different, iam blonde on top half way down and most of front but then right at the ends and lower back of hair iam doing it a burgandy red it looks great and i can grow my hair long again
Hilights on top of hilights can eventualy build up to look like a full head colour or too solid.the solution is to get your stylist to put a few foils in next time which are slightly darker or near your natural base colour(colour of your regrowth),aswell as your normal hi light colour.this will brake up the colour and add more tones to your hair colour and make the colour look more natural. The picture you have shown is a hilift tint-deepending on the depth(how dark or light)that your natural shade is, it might be achievable.book a consultation at your salon for advice...
Well if you are blonde get a full head but ask for some low browns..add a medium shade brown under were your neck is..this frames the face..you can ask for a darker shade of blonde as highlights..so it doesnt look like barbie..you wanna do the same thing for brown or black but with black you wanna add lighter colors instead of darker (but not with blonde just the same concept)

i hope this helps
I think some coloring would do it.
Ask for blocks of colour done with foils. They can be as thin or thick as you ask.
no harm in trying an all over color...you may like it
alot of people have this problem but if you ask for thicker or chunkier highlights then they will turn out fine . also if you are getting bored with it try adding more colors ! :)
well it depends what full hair color do you want then get that then get high lights for example if you get blonds color go with red highlight or blue or pink to.or even all or get natrual high lights.....

who knows mabey the problem is your hair color.
