Recently, my friend got hired to do several different young ladies hair for a pageant in small town. (3 nights, several different categories) Some of his clients, included the reigning Miss ';Small Town'; (change of town), the emcee for the night, as well as a winner from the night before. While he was getting one of the ladies ready, he was told to leave, the contestant that one got threatened to loose her crown. Yet, one of the pageant directors, a male, was going in and out of the rooms, plus he also did some hair on several nights. He is not a licesened cosmetolgist like my friend. Do you think this is right? What suggestions do you have to make next year be better? Remember, this is his job, these are his clients, and this event brings in a decent amount of income.Should Male Hairdressers be allowed to style hair for female contestants in a beauty pageant?
actually some male hair dressers are the best hair dressers in the world so i think that cold be rightShould Male Hairdressers be allowed to style hair for female contestants in a beauty pageant?
It's completely unfair. Just because a lot of unfairness goes on in beauty pageants, or other elements of society, doesn't justify it.
This is a beauty pageant, not real life. Don't expect logic or fairness.
