Mine?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>I hate hairdressers!! ...?
Im 20 years old and im a hairdresser, alot of older stylist in this industry think they know everything. there are very arogant. They are to set in there ways and once you sit in their chair they already know without you speaking what they are going to do. thats what makes every hairdresser and every experience at a salon different. Not evey hairdresser is stupid, and fat, and has ff'd up hair. I know your pretty upset, but you just learned from your mistake, next time see someone thats has the ame style and hair you like. thats the best advice i can give ya babes
LOL i know what you mean!

i'll tell my hairdresser i want my layers to start at my eye level and she puts them like 4 inches lower! even thought i stated very clearly where i wanted them!

plus the fact in every hairdresser i go for a trim, they end up messing up and changing the style of my hair completely. its like, i only want a trim, it cant be that hard!! i've tried like 10 hairdressers before and i've never found a decent one :/
I feel your pain.

I just got my haircut. I HATEE it. My bangs were supposed to be long side bangs. Now they're short, blunt, and effing ugly.

I didn't want layers, but ';THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE, I PUT THEM IN ANYWAYS';.

Ahhh. Low intelligence. I can't complain about it either because she's my neighbor. I have to say I love it or she'll likely start crying to my mom about how rude I am.

Get the torches!
maybe your too nice.. try being really firm and beeotch-like

and

if they do do the opposite after you say that , make them fix it. thats what i did, she totally efd my hair colour and i just told her that thats not what i said i wanted [it was very off] and they have to fix it
Wow! You're being really rude and stereotypical. My hairdresser is fabulous! Why don't you get a new freaking hairdresser? They're not all ';stupid'; or ';uneducated';! In fact, most of them aren't. Perhaps you should get up and find a good hairdresser instead of complaining about it on the Internet!
I agree completely. It takes a long time to find a hairdresser that does exactly what you say. Try going to a high end salon maybe.... I dont know either.
....chances are, the feeling is probably mutual.
i love hairdressers.

by the way, no one wants to hear you complain about them so shut up.
Don't do it yourself!!!!!!!! Try a different salon or hairdresser. They aren't all stupid. Promise.
SO TRUE

JUST STOP GOING TO THE LOW CLASS ONES
Where do you go?!
wow, didn't i just read like the same thing?
My mother is a hairdresser and she does as told. Don't hate them, hate is a strong word. They probably cut a bit more because your hair is damaged, they do another color probably because THEY KNOW that it won't look good on your hair.

They do it for your own good.My friend wanted to dye her hair full blond but has VERY short hair. The hairdresser only partially dyed it because she would look like trailer trash. She later dyed it full blond and did not like it at all.

I say if you don't like that hairdresser go to another, but don't complain because they are doing their job.

You sound rather stupid.First of all, you sound like a ..i dont wanna say.Maybe if you hate it so much don't go at all and cut your own hair.Your insulting other people and t hats rude.Go complain somwhere else.

You sound like a freaking two year old, go grow up.
I don't know either. My boss's wife has been taking care of my hair for over 7 years. Has helped me with growing out layers of hair so that it's all one length, and has colored it a few times to my liking. BUT on June 20th, after 2 weeks of my research, I went to her to softly perm my hair for big loose curls and wave. My hair was 3 inches below my shoulder, except for bangs that were under my eyes in length. I asked for a centimeter trim prior to the perm to make sure I had no split ends. She said no. I showed her 3 pictures, hoping to achieve the proximity of at least one. I asked for her to use the biggest rollers she had. No, you're hair is too fine. I went through with the process anyway. It didn't look too bad at first, then she started to trim some ends, then said she needed to layer the back so the curl would lay better. Now it's shorter/above my shoulder. Then advised me to let my hair air dry. OK. I got home, it was starting to frizz and I had these tiny spitty granny curls. Didn't look anywhere near what I wanted. So I left it alone for a day %26amp; half. The following Monday morning, I showered and started getting ready for work, I couldn't shape it, couldn't scrunch it, have all these uneven butchered layers and I was really disgusted. I almost cried. I had long beautiful, healthy hair now it's a frizzy puffy short mess. I wanted to call and complain %26amp; have her attempt to fix it but worried she'll make it even worse. Tuesday, an old man drove his car into the front of the salon as he was trying to stop it to pick up his wife. It was a sign. I called another salon and went in 2 weeks later for a deep conditioning treatment and she tried her best without cutting too much more off to even the layers. The new stylist was perplexed and confused by the way it turned out when I showed her the look I was going for. She took her time trying to fix it. It still takes me too much time to get it to look alright for work.

I think they inhale too many chemical fumes and hair products and it effects their brains. They are not all that bad, just in a rush or set in their ways.
