Bad haircut, hairdressers HELP!!!?

I got a haircut yesterday, and she didn't layer it in the back like I wanted. The top layer is only about 2 inches shorter than the bottom layer. My hair length is about 3 inches below my shoulders, and I'd like the layering in the back to be more prominent. Any tips or advice on how I could layer it just a bit more on my own?Bad haircut, hairdressers HELP!!!?
Cutting your own hair in the back is really hard. It's hard to do backwards in the mirror, and it's hard to keep straight. It only looks well with the 'messy' type hair styles. I would go back to the same hairstylist and tell them you're not happy with it. Usually they will fix it for you, and not charge you the price of a haircut. You can also call ahead and discuss it with the stylist.Bad haircut, hairdressers HELP!!!?
Not even a professional can cut the back of their hair. Go to the owner of the salon if you don't feel comfortable going back to the original stylist. Though most stylist would appreciate it if you went back and let them make it just how you want it. Its not rude to go back, just be nice. That is how you develop a relationship with a stylist, and they learn what you like and don't like. People should not expect miracles the first time they see a stylist, if you don't tell her/him, they will never know they didn't get it right.
go back to your hairdresser and tell her it isnt quite right and could she please cut in a few more obviouse layes at the back
