A question for HAIRDRESSERS !!!?

Hi im 15 and when i leave school in may i really want to be a hairdresser, i know the pay isn't that good and il probably be sweeping hair for a few years. so im going to write my cv today and then hand it in to some hairdressers for an apprenticeship.





i Just want to no do you like your job ?


what are the good and bad points about it


and did you make any bad mistakes and what happend ?





where you nervous when you first cut someones hair etc





please tell me everything !!!

Im not a hairdresser, but if you want to really make money, go to beauty school and get a diploma. If you are qualified to not only do hairdressing, but also waxings/massages/mkaeupyou'll likely get payed more.
Its a good sector to work in especially in times of a recession as people will always need their hair cut. You will need to work your way up, unless you go on a course straight away. It's a very rewarding job as you make people feel good about themselves, but can get slightly tedious after a bit if clients are boring. Stick with it, keep your prices low to keep many clients and they will return if you provide a friendly service to them. good luck. :)
