Measurements with peroxide-Any hairdressers out there?

Hi. I have bought a 50ml tube of loreal majirouge dark extra red blonde dye and i am being asked to mix 75ml of peroxide 20vl to get one lift and 30vl for two lift.... I was originally going to bleach my hair using 40vl peroxide and then use the dye over as my hair is dyed very dark at the moment. But if i use 40vl peroxide 75ml with the 50ml tube of dye will this be enough to lift the dark colour without bleaching first?Measurements with peroxide-Any hairdressers out there?
for very dark hair , it has to be lighten with bleach of 40 vol.but you must use on scalp bleach because if you get the wrong one ,you';ll burn the scalp. once you have applied lightener to hair scalp to ends process for 30 mins.fyi-- color does not left color.Measurements with peroxide-Any hairdressers out there?
i'm not 100% familiar with that color line but it sounds like it's made to lift and then deposit the red. it probably won't cut through the color you already have on your hair but i'm not sure if it will deposit the right way if you bleach first either. just to make sure, you should call the manufacturer. usually they have a phone number somewhere on the box or the instructions that is a help line. they will be able to tell you exactly how this specific color works and what will happen in your specific situation.

in addition: you should not have to use 40 volume developer with bleach! it will tremendously dry out your hair! if you're mixing and applying properly, all you should need is 20 volume.
