Question for professional hairdressers, help needed!?

I have always had long blonde highlighted hair and never had any problems. Since a stylist put a slightly darker colour through my hair in May, I noticed that after only a week or so of, my hair looked really black and streaky underneath, particularly if I tried to tie it back in a ponytail. I revisited the salon, and the stylist put it down to regrowth, did not put the darker colour in again, but the same happened. Since then, another stylist from the same salon gave me another full head of blonde highlights ten days ago, and the same is happening already. I have a 4 month old and really need to be able to throw my hair back. I know something is not right but the salon seem to be saying it's regrowth. Having had three full heads done in under four months, with the last done only ten days ago, should I not be able to have a tidy ponytail look? Any suggestions as to why this might be happening and how to handle the salon. I have spent around 300 in 4 months on this! Also, I am naturally ash blonde, not very dark.Question for professional hairdressers, help needed!?
Well, I am not a professional, but I have had highlights for the last 10 years and a few issues along the way!! I would talk to your hairdresser that did your hair the last few times and get information about the products she or he used on your hair.....for example...what type of bleach (brand name and type) what level of developer they mixed in with the bleach. What the brand and item number of the haircolor they used on the lo-lites. What was the base of the haircolor?----Neutral, Violet, Ash, etc. What level of developer did they mix in with the haircolor? Did they do anything different? Did the salon switch haircolor brands they use on all their clients?

This may have something to do with your pregnancy too....This hair that your hairdresser was coloring and bleaching is hair that your body was producing while you were pregnant and your hormones and everything else in your body was out of wack.... Your hair grows approx. 1/2 inch per month, so you have about 4.5'; of ';pregnancy'; hair. This could be a major factor, too.
