Ok so i my hair jumps up on the two sides of my forehead. In another way it shapes my head like a heart. Some people call them ';calf's licks'; but i don't no the other tearm. The problem is i have two on eather side of my split and i REALLY want a full fringe but my hairdresser said i can't because of this. She says the fringe will jump up. Is there any way that i could get some sort of full fringe that wont jump up? maybe if i use alot of hair to push it down?
Its extremley hard to explain to most so if you don't understand don't answer,lol!Hair-experts or Hairdressers: i need help!!?
learn to work with them instead of against them.
i have had stylists try to count mine (they get to 20 and stop) because i have so many. they can't believe i have hair as awesome as i do because of the cowlicks.
i am also a hairstylist (over 20 years) and own my own business.
i am telling you this for your own sanity. work with them instead of against them.
i have one on each side of my fringe area and one about an inch into my hairline directly on the top of my head and everyone loves my hair and wants my cut but they can't wear it because they don't have the cowlicks like i do.
mine is to the 7th vertebrae, almost in a bob except with a fringe, super flippy and texturized; it can be worn to either side.
the cowlicks act almost like curls because of the texturizing. all i do is blow dry in all directions. i can use product either before or after blow drying and it looks perfect all day. i can't wear the 'every hair in place' look. i have to do the messy look; it's fantastic! (it never gets messy if it's normally worn that way) re-tousle and goHair-experts or Hairdressers: i need help!!?
No, there is nothing you can do... usually with age those areas get better.....
