I have been getting my hair cut by the same hairdresser for ten years. I have difficult hair to cut (cowlicks, receding hairline) and she does a fantastic job. In that time a few other people have cut my hair and it's never the same and I wind up feeling self-conscience. I know it's silly, and probably looks the same to most people, but I can tell the difference.
However, my fiance' thinks the girl who cuts my hair is too expensive ($27 plus $5 tip). Also, she believes I value my hairdressers opinion more than hers because I watched a TV show and tried a ';cheese dog'; she recommended, despite my fiance's warnings. As it turns out my fiance' was right, the show and cheese dog were both a waste of time.
I want my fiance' to be happy, but also want to feel good about my hair. Am I being selfish or is she being unreasonable?Should I change hairdressers because my fiance' said to?
She's being unreasonable. If you allow her to make you change stylists, then you just might as well hand her your testicles on a silver platter.Should I change hairdressers because my fiance' said to?
no way. keep your hairdresser. i think that is being too unreasonable.
