A question for hairdressers?

I'm currently in the process of growing my hair into something similar to the photo found by following the link below. My question is, is it necessary to use any styling product to obtain this, and if so what would you recommend?





Also, is there a particular way my hair should be cut in order to get it to look like this or is it a simple matter of just growing it?

ok there is no way to explain that. your not going to get what you want unless you bring that photo with you to the hair dresser. of course you will need the cut first, then you will probably be needing a hair straightener, then maybe hairspray





also they wil probably be cutting your bangs to an angle so you'll probably need to straighten them first then blow dry them the way they cut them so you get that dramatic look
