Question for hairdressers or experts?

okay so my hair is naturally brown, a light/medium brown and at the moments its blonde, practically white and i really want to colour my hair like this:

i was just wondering though, would i have to color it in steps, or would i be able to achieve this color in one session? My hairdresser is a family friend who does my hair for cheap and she does an amazing job every time so i know that the final result will turn out good. But i was just wondering how long it would take to obtain this hair color.

One session should be fine but you may have to have a filler colour put through first before adding the final tones and streaks, to prevent it from going greeny-toned.
