I have naturally very dark brown if not black hair. I want to dye my hair platinum blonde, like this

I know the volume of processing in this would damage my hair, but would my hair be totally fried? Like so bad that it snaps off and isnt shiny?
I'd be going to a salon for this of course, but I want your opinions,
How do you think this color would go with pale skin and dark brown eyes [occaisionally blue, I wear contacts sometimes]Platinum blonde [hairdressers please]?
I have brown eyes, and I also have the whitest blonde that I can get.
The truth is this: bleaching your hair will fry it. You will have to take super good care of it. No drugstore shampoos, no flat iron for about a week after. Get a reconstructing shampoo (with protein) and a really really good moisturizing conditioner. Ask your stylist for recommendations.
Bleached hair does lose its shine. You can buy serums and shine sprays to give it a healthy look and feel though.
One thing you should know is it will not go from black to platinum in one sitting. The hair lightens in stages. It goes from black to brown to red to orange to yellow to pale yellow to pale blonde. Depending on what level developer you use, will determine how fast your hair will lighten. But doing a higher volume is more damaging. Your best bet to keep it as healthy as you can is to use 20vol. and do it slow. Trust me, you will thank me in the end.
Good luck!!Platinum blonde [hairdressers please]?
well, you should go from your color now to that blonde slowly, so you don't fry you hair extreamly badly.
maybe you can set up a session once a week to gradually get that color and everyday between use color-protection shampoo and deep condictioning condictioner between dyes
i have done this color before and i have very very very pale skin, and blue eyes, and it didn't look bad if i say so myself, the girl in the picture is very pale herself by the way.
good luck (:
i would say the only problem you would have would be if you had fine hair...if it is fine then if can fry it and cause it to break off....if it is pretty normal then i think you would be ok....i would check around to different salons to see what there opinions would be....all you have to do is call or stop by and ask for a consultation...it is hard to say with out being able to check out your hair texture, porosity, and such as that....just be careful who you get to do it and make sure they know what they are doing....not everyone that works at a salon as a ';colorist'; knows what they are doing......just find a reputable colorist in your area....hope this helps.... :)
They may have to do a double process. (bleach it twice)
Getting this done once will not cause much damage and your hair will feel different. It will feel more dry, and when it is wet it might feel a little slimey. This is normal in bleached hair.
and I think it could look good on you!
hey...this just my opinion kayy.....umm dont die your hair that color i personally think guys with dark brown/black hair is SOO HOT !! Lol and dont wear contacts either.......brown eyes is gorgeous !!! love it ! [hate blonde hair blue eyes on a guy....too girl like]
