My hair is reasonably long, sort of just above the middle of my back with a few long layers and is naturally thick but straight. Its a kind of mousy brown strawberry blonde but in august i got a full head of light blonde highlights. its not as blonde as i wanted it to be at all, you can see the highlights but they are not everywhere and only probably cover about a quarter of my hair if that. I wanted to be really light platinum blonde so was prepared for an allover bleach but i was talked out of that but am now wishing i had got that instead. Can i not do that now, is my hair too damaged from the highlights? I intend to grow my hair a bit longer but really light blonde is what i want i am prepared for roots and everything. i would really appreciate if someone could tell me if i can bleach over these highlights without my hair breaking - it seems to be in good condition i just wanted a professional opinion. If you were my hairdresser would you bleach my hair?thankyou so much for reading all of that
*i wouldnt do this myself i would def go to a stylist
*and i have light blue eyes and really pale skin if that makes any differenceNeed a hairdressers opinion?
sure can. thats how people go lighter, you want to start off small so you don't get overwhelmed. it will just be adding highlights to the hair that isn't highlighted, and your roots that have probably grown out by now. When you go to the stylist, just say that you want to add more highlights and go a lot lighter. :)
personal experience, i do that all the time haha
