Going to the hairdressers,what do I ask for?

I'm most likely getting my hair cut on tuesday,and I want it cut like this;

I want it exactly like that,but maybe more voluminous?If she cut it exactly that lenght,how would I get it bigger at the top?Or do I just ask for shorter layers?What do I tell the hairdresser?


Cause flat hair just looks really bad on me ;/

first, show her the picture. tell her you want a cut that looks good after you shake our your hair, in other words, a cut that you don't have to fuss w/ or constantly ';re-arrange'; . This should be done at as high end a salon as possible. you get what you pay for. Tell her exactly what you wrote- that you want to get it bigger at the top. Make sure she shows you how to style it for the volume on top, otherwise you're going to have problems. good luck, and don't forget to post the picture once you have it done !Going to the hairdressers,what do I ask for?
Print out the picture and take it with you to show it to your hairdresser. That's what I always do. And if you want something slightly different than the picture just say ';I want this cut, but with more volume at the top.'; Your hairdresser will let you know what he/she has to do cutting-wise and what you have to do to style it the way you like it :)
just tell her exactly that :) she'll know what you want


and make sure you print off this picture to show her.


also, don't be afraid to say if you don't like something she does.
why don't you print the picture and show the hairdresser and tell her you want it
