Does a hairdressers salary include tips?

Hi I'm 20 yrs. old and ready to start a career instead of just holding a job. I have been trying to look up Hairdressers salaries but unfortunately it doesn't explain if the yearly salary includes tips? If not what would you say is maybe a daily or weekly average in tips? Also on average what kind of hours would I be looking at? See I have a child just turning one, and right now I'm working 6 days a week 8 1/2 hrs a day and making diddly squat. Now don't get me wrong I'm a hard worker but I would really enjoy having more time to spend with my son before he's not wanting to spend time with me!!Does a hairdressers salary include tips?
